Debut LP for Ashra, originally released in 1977. Manuel Gottsching's cult status was gained immediately on it's release (the keen-eared Richard Branson shortly afterwards snapped him up for his, then, fledgling Virgin label) as listeners were beguiled with it's unworldly hybrid of electronics and shimmering guitar experiments. It even caught the attention of eclectic New York DJ, Dave Mancuso, and the epic 'Shuttlecock' became an after-hours anthem at his notorious Loft club.
