Debutant Heron Fischer’s FTW DAMFS EP is a set of quirky outsider-club tools of the L.I.E.S./Black Opal variety. Stylistically there’s a bit of a range here - the record runs through low-slung electro, needling neo-trance, off-beat ghettotech and leftfield hardcore in that order. Heron Fischer’s trick is to make FTW DAMFS all hang together as a whole by maintaining a grainy, lo-fi vibe from start to finish.
