After taking the 2000s off, Strafe F.R. (Strafe Für Rebellion) have returned to the fray in the 2010s. This feels good and proper - contemporary acts like Vatican Shadow, Silent Servant and Oberman Knocks all owe quite a debt to this duo’s unsettling post-industrial sound. On new LP Shadow Position the pair prove that they are still lords of the game, creating four moody pieces that slink between illbient, dark ambient, musique concrete and vampiric noise.
