Say you’re watching a movie — a thriller, perhaps. While the rogue maverick cop is out leaping from explosions and pursuing the perp, the rest of the police staff are stuck with paperwork back at HQ, away form the heart stopping action. This might be the setting of Taeha Types’ Mechanical Keyboard Sounds. Literally featuring the sound computer keyboard typing — some fast (‘Chicory KB5160AT’, ‘IBM 5140’), some not (‘Fjell’) — this LP is the sound of absolutely nothing happening despite its undeniable movement.
