There are few artist who can claim true originality on the frontier lands of hitherto unheard music. N.M.O. are one example of such intrepid explorers of sound, and Nuova Musica Ostinata on Gang Of Ducks prolongs their legacy cemented with past releases on Diagonal, The Death of Rave and Anòmia. Playful doesn’t begin to cover it; ‘La music inizia…’ bops with indistinguishably sed up vocals and errant percussion in the vein of juke, footwork and dancehall bombast, guaranteed to discombobulate as well as invite some mad dancefloor shapes.
