Urodela is a new two-part work from Danish experimental electronics artist Anders P. Jensen. Across these two side-long excursions we find Jensen channelling some of the foremost artists from the worlds of electroacoustic music, musique concrete and the sonic avant-garde. Karlheinz Stockhausen, John Cage (whose Six Melodies directly inspires Urodela’s ‘Gamut’), Pierre Schaeffer and J. G. Biberkopf are but a few of those recalled by this innovative, bold and captivating set.
