Sticking to their anything-goes guns yet again, WRWTFWW Records return to Japan and the works of OG ambient and environmental music composer Yoshio Ojima. Coming after the inaugural release of the label’s Esplanade Series, the 1988 release Une Collection des Chaînons II: Music for Spiral is a deeply evolving and involving work of ensconcing ambient textures named and conceptualised after the spiralled structures within the atrium of Wacoal Art Centre in Tokyo. If Light in the Attic Records’ Kankyō Ongaku compilation had you blissed out, this LP will do just as well.
