Circadian Rhythms (DJ Deg) brings us the most extensive of his archival Basic Moves releases. Basic Moves 11 features half a dozen tracks which were laid down in the period between 1989-1994. These are wistful, detailed house and techno jams that are fine examples of the style of that particular time-period. The psychedelic, fourth-world tinge to cuts like ‘Must Be’ and ‘Optima Dance’ can still be heard nowadays in the sound of labels like Planet Euphorique and Mood Hut.
