Orlando Voorn dives into the vaults to get together Rejected City, an EP of some of his most out-there club productions. Both ‘Cloud Dancing’ and Rejected City’s title-track are anchored by crisp techno rhythms, but their use of forthright, almost chiptune-esque lead lines set them apart from the pack. In a way, there’s some Actress to this pair. As for closer ‘Glass’, this is the sort of degraded anti-club wedge that would make Autechre proud.
