Wormhole Wisdom deliver another set of archival delights from long-lost electro act Grumptronix. Much like their first Nightmoves EP, Nightmoves 2 brings together reissued Grumptronix tunes with tracks that have never previously made it to press. The whacked-out A-sides ‘Black Orchid' and 'Pocket Rocket’ were first put out on Silicon Audio in 1996, and their whirring grooves provide an unusual take on the Drexciyan sound. The vibe continues onto ‘Subfactor’, the first of Nightmoves 2’s hitherto-unreleased B-sides, though the EP takes a hard left for the ambient wash of closer ‘Dub Sea’.
