Curtis Roads’ Point Line Cloud came about in 2005, at the tail end of Roads’ period of intermittent creativity between 1999 and 2003, a time at which his abstract electronic music was audibly finding its legs. Anyone who wishes Autechre’s output was less dancefloor oriented, with more emphasis on deep headphone listening, should find plenty to love here.
