‘Spring Swells’/‘Leave Me Alone’ is the first in a run of three 7” records from Thurston Moore that will focus on live recordings by the Thurston Moore Group. ‘Spring Swells’ is the original here while ‘Leave Me Alone’ is a New Order cover - fittingly recorded in Salford. With its melange of bright, jangling guitars, the Moore group’s take on ‘Leave Me Alone’ gives the song a fitting update. ‘Spring Swells’/‘Leave Me Alone’ also comes with an eight-page zine.
