Nautilus Rising describe Confusion, their latest drop from enigmatic producer V, as ‘New-wave-ebm-acid-ambient’. That seems like an awful lot of balls to keep in play, but it actually proves an apt description of these tracks from the one born Vidmantas Čepkauskas. The way these numbers coast along on chunky club grooves and grainy, almost vaporwave-esque synths is reminiscent of other producers like Tolouse Low Trax, Succhiamo, Alek Lee and Dazion.
