The Cyclist’s 2017 LP Sapa Inca Delirium was a heady listen, one that incorporated various strains of psychedelia - particularly those derived from a range of South American cultures - into a potent techno record. That same vibe is maintained by Bruce and Mor Elian on this remix EP. Bruce kicks us off with his flip of ‘Inhale/Exhale’, a track in which the blurting bass and shards of guitar that cut across the mix hark back to his earlier Timedance releases. Elian’s version of ‘Skateboarding In The Jungle’ features a more linear and rolling breakbeat techno groove. The outlier here is Nathan Micay’s ‘Springtime Scream’ remix of Sapa Inca Delirium’s title-track, a typically perky DJ tool from the buffest man in techno.
