Multiquest is an apt name for a series RAMZi records - Phoebé Guillemot’s previous drops have all had a rather adventurous quality to them. Multiquest Niveau 1: Camouflé does something similar to her recent full-length Phobiza "Amor Fati" Vol.3, inviting the listener into a realm of magical realism that brings to mind the soundworlds of labels like Mood Hut, 1080p and Planet Euphorique. Fourth-world electronics abound across the record, often wed to thrusting New Beat-house rhythms but sometimes drawn out by slower, more cerebral tempi. Fellow travellers Jumanji and C.K. U Kno get involved on ‘Kombat’ and ‘RAMZi’s Anthem’ respectively.
