Lifted from a term in Rastafarianism related to the vibratory world-changing potential of speech and music, ‘Word & Sound’ find defiant forces for peace coalescing into a powerfully minimal tune, arid with big room bass thumps, skittering hi-hats and a rousing group vocal to accompany Zephaniah’s incantatory preach.
