Cuando is the first in a promised trio of EPs from the united forces of Atom™ and Tobias.. Better strap yourself in - if the other two are anything like this then we’re in for a wild ride. Cuando’s title-track and its variant ‘Cuando (Tool I)’ both hone in on the same juddering techno locked-groove. The ‘Tool’ version is a little more subby while ‘Cuando’ itself goes for a bit of an Ostgut Ton thing, but really both of these tunes are as hard and heavy as each other. Burbling dub techno thing ‘Aux I’ rounds out an excellent EP.
