On their third LP Floorplan find themselves in the auspicious surroundings of Aus Music for the first time. The father-daughter duo of Robert and Lyric Hood deliver some of their finest work to date here, fusing soul and gospel influences with undulating minimal-techno/house grooves throughout the album. Tracks such as ‘Song Like This’ bristle with energy and verve in a manner that brings to mind a Larry Levan classic updated for the Berghain age.
