Originally released in 1980, ‘I Can’t Get Along Without You’ is one of those golden-age disco tomes that regularly fetches big money on the secondhand market. Good news, then, that Kalita Records have got together this much more affordable reissue of the song. Vance And Suzzanne (yes, two ‘Z’s) were members of the Crown Heights Affair when they cut ‘I Can’t Get Along Without You’, and that band’s way with groove and melody is held over in this sensuous, soulful dance number. Larry Levan is a known fan ‘I Can’t Get Along Without You’.
