Echoes of Time indeed recalls XVARR’s 2018 tape Serpent Power in its pure loveliness and emotive virtuosity, taking as its antecedents the early synth expeditions of Laurie Spiegel, as well as the full-blown romanticism of Eno’s pastoral landscapes.
