How does he do it? How does DMX Krew make so much music and continually keep his sound fresh? Returning to Berlin’s Libertine imprint - a label that has also fronted up work by Luke Vibert and Scott Edward - DMX Krew’s umpteenth release of 2019 alone is yet another set of high-grade machine-funk. He softens his sound up ever so slightly here, easing off on the acid and hard-nosed electro a tad in order to give his tracks some extra bounce. Those of you wanting a bit more 303 shouldn’t fear though - a couple of cuts in Libertine 12’s second half have plenty of squelch to them.
