As well as releasing his new LP Open Too Close in a resplendent full album format, Will Saul has also broken down the record into EP-sized chunks. Open Too Close EP 2 fronts a quartet of the album’s tracks. It makes for a fine introduction to the full-length record, an LP that the Aus Music boss has carefully curated to represent the full breadth of his aesthetic and influences. On Open Too Close EP 2 this manifests itself as a set of ebullient tech-house rollers full of driving breaks, dubbed-out atmospherics and the stargazing synths of classic Detroit techno.
