People interested in seeing hip hop move on without loosing it's identity or falling into a dark world of Gangsterisims have been drawn to the output of these strangely dressed producers for some time now. This single, taken from their soon to be released new album, does see them flipping things somewhat. 'Feel the Bass' with Talib Kweli has a massive bass drum and a lush synthy feeling, over which Talib encourages the young ladies to shake what they've got. On the flip, possibly the side I prefer, Capone n Noreaga along with Lord Nez, drop stern rhymes over some beats and synth lines that sound like they could feature in the film of the computer game 'Outrun', if such a thing existed. Very fresh stuff, three versions of each track.
