Back in 1980 the ambient electronics master Don Slepian self-released New Dawn, the third record in his New Music For Digital Orchestra run. The series title is somewhat misleading - Slepian composed with analog rather than digital instruments - but New Dawn itself proves an apt name for such a blissed and blissful listen. The gently-rolling harmonies and heavenly pads of both ‘Geodesic (Part 1)’ and ‘Cosmic Geometry’ occupy a similar space to Laraaji’s most tranquil work. This new limited pressing of New Dawn sets it to wax for the first time.

  1. 1 Geodesic (part 1) 2:00
  2. 2 Cosmic Geometry 2:00
