Like most beautiful things in life, they wink out in an instant. This was the case with New Zealand drone pop outfit Entlang, and offshoot of celebrated group The Garbage and The Flowers, who briefly shepherded their lush lo-fi wares across the islands back in the 1990s. Rose Hobart cherry picks what little evidence remains of an album that never was; four weighty numbers of freewheeling, intimate slowcore magic in the vein of early Low, Yo La Tengo and Galaxie 500.
