Montreal’s Essaie pas (Bleep AOTY artist Marie Davidson & Pierre Guerineau) are back at it again on their latest DFA release. The Earth EP picks up the baton from the duo’s 2018 LP New Path, with both Essaie pas originals here arresting pieces of cyborg-built new beat/EBM. Earth’s title-track is the club hit - its needling synths remind us of Boy Harsher and SPFDJ - while ‘Corps Étranger’ is slower but no less potent. Tiger & Woods member Marco Passarani Italifies ‘Earth’ on his remix.
