We’ve no firm idea as to the identity of The Hidden Figure - all we know is that this project is ‘a mysterious new alter ego for a very much established and well respected Acid / Electro producer’. Whoever’s behind these two tracks definitely knows what they’re doing. These tunes groove along very nicely indeed, full of reedy keyboard melodies and pitter-patter 808s. ‘Silhouettes’ coasts on a broken-beat electro groove while ‘Cypher’ is a perky acid jack.
