L.I.E.S. veteran Delroy Edwards teams up with label newcomer Benedek for the label’s latest drop. One would expect a union of these two artists to produce a set of retro house tunes, and on their Untitled EP as Trackstars we get exactly that. Cuts like ‘Bonanza’, ‘What About House?’ and ‘Udu’ are full of melody and harmony, their twittering hats and warm synths recalling the golden age of Chicago.
