Visible Cloaks turns out a pair of gorgeous remixes of tracks from Studio Mule’s recent BGM LP. When you hear the term ‘remix’ you instantly think of DJ tools, but these versions from the one born Spencer Doran dissolves the original tunes into space. There is a heavenly quality to these tracks - particularly the overwhelming ‘Yugao (Overtone Mix)’ - that takes the listener into a state of rapture. It’s not dissimilar to the feeling you get when listening to Arvo Pärt’s most beatific work.
