Allah-Las give us another set of beatific Californication on new LP LAHS. The band’s fourth full-length record finds them very much in the pocket and serving up dreamy psych-pop jangle after dreamy psych-pop jangle. Once again Allah-Las nail a time-honoured sound that runs through everyone from Ultimate Painting to The Brian Jonestown Massacre to The Beatles. The summer might be over, but you wouldn’t know it from listening to LAHS.
