Mount Kimbie’s WXAXRXP Session demonstrates how the group’s sound evolves in a live context. Expanding out from its core membership of Dominic Maker and Kai Campos, this version of Mount Kimbie brings out the latent post-punk, noise and bleep-techno influences one hears fluttering at the edges of their studio LPs. Aided by guest appearances from Micachu and Andrea Balency, these recordings - laid down for Warp’s thirtieth birthday series WXAXRXP - capture the band in full flow.
