Up and coming label Cocktail D’Amore showcase the multivalent craft of Kris Baha with Palais. Baha stands legs akimbo, with one foot on the dancefloor, and the other in the neon kitsch world of cyberpunk futurism, winding up jagged grooves as easily as discordant industrial noise. The pulsing sequencers and steely clangour may conjure in the mind Nitzer Ebb, DAF or any number of genre greats, but Baha offers a potent cocktail of his own design.
