It’s been a long time coming, but we finally have a full-length record from Howard Thomas’s H-Fusion project. H-Fusion’s Sound Signature releases turned heads in the 00’s, and now the Captured Entities LP serves to remind us what a unique producer Thomas is. His is an alien, technoid brand of Midwestern club music, one that twists techno and juke into curious new shapes. The minimal flavour of these tracks nods to Levon Vincent but their abstract natute fits better with the likes of ELLLL. All in all The Death Of Rave is a good fit for Captured Entities.
