Dekmantel returns to the archives of legendary Dutch imprint Djax-Up-Beats for another stellar compilation. While the label has largely hosted releases from boss Miss Djax in the past few years, back in the 90’s and early 00’s Djax-Up-Beats did a roaring trade in techno, house and electro. Djax Re-Up Volume 2 returns to the glory days for a set of primo club cuts. The way in which the artists included here - Glenn Underground, Felix Da Housecat, Terrace - all built on the formative sounds of Detroit make their Djax-Up-Beats entries some of European club culture’s foundational traxx. This eight-track set should bring the memories flooding back.
