Returning with the third chapter in his Quellgeister series, Austrian composer Stefan Fraunberger took to an abandoned church in Bussd, Romania, and recorded the whole thing on an eerie, deteriorating organ. Despite the fact, the organ yet glows with desperate life, breathing raspy breaths, each plummeting note seemingly its last. Coloured by microtonal blemishes and imperfect drones, Quellgeister #3 is an expansive work sifting across the transient archives of memory and materials.
