Commissioned by INA GRM for their Présences Électronique festival in 2018, John Chantler makes a sonic about-face with Tomorrow is Too Late. Sprawled across four suites on side A of the LP is the slow-bubbling title track, stowing crackling bonfire electrics alongside wayward spurts of synth. ‘We’re Always At The End’ hols up side B, a work somehow bubbling far slowly than its flip side predecessor, as the same electronics build to an effervescent coda by the runtime’s end.
