MyMy and Data MC tear apart 'Tanz Der Molekule' (Dance of the molecule?) originally a German chart-topping hit from techno pop group Mia. (the third one that i've come across, not XL's M.I.A. or MIA who runs Substatic). Both groups offer up two mixes but it's the first effort from Playhouse act MyMy that steals the show. It sounds like a deranged update of Akufen's vocal cutups but with MyMy's added flair for wonky synth programming and shuffley beats, it's great! Their second mix - 'Coffee And Spliff' - is tougher and deeper than the first but not quite as bright and catchy. Data MC also produce two worthy takes on the original composition and my favourite is their 'Tech Step' effort that features some fine bending synth noises.
