London producer and musical curator Lord Tusk hops back to it on Outer Time Inner Space with a pair of tunes vibing on hypnagogic pop sweetness. Side A’s ‘Tell Me’, which finds Tusk hooking up with his old chum Tyson for a wet hot summer squelch, full of airy synth swells and a chilled pace the Isley Brothers would be pleased with. Side B takes a different tact, pairing tired-eyes vocals with even hazier dream pop guitar swirls.
