Fantastic Man is back with an EP of wiggly, ever so slightly trippy electro. Solar Surfing begins with its title-track, a cut that blends an insistent electro groove with the kind of dawn-chorus keys work one might expect to find in a Ciel mix. ‘Native Power’ varies the theme with some more illbient atmospherics and an acid bassline. ‘Avocado Conception’, a slower and dubbier take that has shades of Golden Teacher to it, rounds out Solar Surfing.
