Wisdom Teeth’s excellent 2019 continues. After cracking releases from Duckett, Lurka and label boss K-Lone, the Bristolian imprint now front up a new set from Italian producer Piezo. Much like those aforementioned records the Steady Can’t Steady Can’t Stay EP is a veritable Smörgåsbord of dancefloor fare. Seasick club tools are the order of the day here. Opener ‘Waco’ and the Steady Can’t Steady Can’t Stay’s title-track are Metrist-level wonk-techno while more adventurous DJs might wish to go for the highly unusual post-post-dubstep of ‘A Touch Of’ - think Parris on this one. If this is your first encounter with Piezo then it won’t surprise you to find out that he’s previously released on labels such as 81 and Idle Hands.
