Fraught and grandiose electronics on the debut LP from London-based sound artist/composer Ose. Ellipsis is a record that holds harmony and dissonance in balance, with the two often fusing to create soundscapes as abrasive as they are beautiful. Tracks like ‘The Spirit Axis’ combine broiling atmospherics, contemporary classical piano and cacophonous electronic composition. Ellipsis deals in the same sort of beautiful terror as Ben Frost or A Winged Victory For The Sullen.
