We may not hear from him much, but Newworldaquarium is always welcome around these parts whenever he shows up — especially when he comes with fresh tray of previously unreleased numbers. This 12” features deep space ambience, culled from the Dead Bears sessions for reasons unknown. Side A’s ‘Mercury’ is characteristically minimal, pumping a dubbed out percussive phrase over a dancefloor beat, while ‘Levels Halo’ measures out a lighter pace for blooming synths to bask in ecstatic glory.
