Originally released in 2005, HTRK’s debut LP Nostalgia is now given a limited-edition white vinyl pressing by Fire Records. The record’s fusion of soundscaping post-punk and mid-00’s industrial techniques means that Nostalgia remains an intriguing listen all these years after its first release. The dissonant songcraft of The Birthday Party and Joy Division comes through on cuts like ‘Look What’s Been Done’, but elsewhere Nostalgia nods to the abstractions of Throbbing Gristle.
