Tiga and The Martinez Brothers see two cuts from their collaborative Blessed EP, Pt. 1 remixed by a couple of superstar DJs. Ricardo Villalobos handles duties on ‘Cleopatra’. The original was an atypical track for both Tiga and The Martinez Brothers, eschewing house in favour of hi-NRG electro, and their change in style appears to have encouraged Villalobos to do the same. While his take on ‘Cleopatra’ is still anchored by a minimal techno beat, the track is a fair bit sprightlier than what we often get from Villalobos. On the flip Virgil Abloh channels Jamal Moss for his ‘Blessed’ remix.
