Best-known as Deadboy, Al Wootton is reaping the benefits of switching up his aliases. The producer has come through with a trio of EPs under his given name in 2019, and the latest, Body Healthy, is another set of excellent hybrid club tackle. There’s a lot of styles in the mix here - old-skool garage, house, hardcore, breakbeat, dub techno, UK bass and ragga all make their presence felt. Wootton blends it all up expertly, creating a versatile set of DJ tools in the process.
