Italo-disco don Marco Passarani continues to school the young pretenders. His latest drop, a four-track EP entitled Ignition, is a classic set from the Roman producer that simultaneously manages to show his range. Things kick off with ‘6489 Golevka’, a bubbling Italo number of the sort Passarni’s name has become synonymous with down the years. ‘Mesosiderite’ and ‘Exit Velocity’ bliss things out a bit by introducing some lovely spiralling synth work before Ignition closes out with the heads-down acid jack ‘Roche Limit’.
