Crass is back, in reissue form. One Little Indian, in association with the group’s own Crass Records, set out to revive the back catalogue of the UK’s foremost legends of anarcho-punk to provoke and promote the resistance all over again. If there was ever an entry point into Crass’ oeuvre, their third LP, 1981’s Penis Envy, is surely the one. Initially banned by high street record retailers and charged under the Obscene Publications Act, it finds the group at their provocative and Situationist peak.
