Superconscious Records (Imhotep, Francis Inferno Orchestra) make it a baker’s dozen of releases with some high-energy club tackle from Brazil. Repetentes comes haring out of the blocks on Galaxia Fini’s eponymous opener - the way in which the track’s combination of pretty cosmic synths and deft breakbeats that run close to 160-bpm is reminiscent of Lone. While they are a little slower the same energy and vibe is maintained on ‘Vernissage Anticonspiratoria’ and ‘Jornada Dos Faniquitos’. The skittering, more Detroit-indebted ‘Acavalcan Ritmos’ rounds out this excellent EP.
