Roska shapeshifts into Bakongo for this latest drop. The producer’s new EP is out via Livity Sound, and the Bristolian imprint proves a good fit for this beefy set of club tracks. Labelmates like Forest Drive West and Facta are recalled by the way drums slap and bass blarts on cuts like ‘Momoweb’ and ‘Goulbap’. Despite turning his attention towards soundsystem techno there’s still plenty of Roska’s trademark funky drums in the mix here too.
