Peter Zummo - composer, longtime Arthur Russell collaborator, one-time member of The Lounge Lizards and general avant-garde don - roped in some distinguished guests to help him create new album Deep Drive. Oliver Coates, Ralph Cumbers (Bass Clef), Keith McIvor (JD Twitch) and Ernie Brooks all played big parts on this set of free explorations. Tracks like ‘Prepare For Docking’ reflect Miles Davis’ In A Silent Way through the prism of NYC post-minimalism.
